Department Lab

The Laboratory offers clinical diagnostic testing necessary to assist physicians in monitoring medical conditions for all patient types and ages in the general population.  A Pathologist serving as the Medical Director oversees these services that include the following specialties:

• Blood Bank
• Chemistry
• Coagulation 
• Hematology 
• Immunology
• Microbiology
• Pathology
• Toxicology
• Urinalysis
• Virology

Laboratory Staff are well-trained and experienced Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Phlebotomists, Laboratory Assistants and clerical personnel.  Certifications include ASCP, AMT, and AAB.

Laboratory Services is computerized and interfaced with the Hospital information system.  Only the more complex or lower volume tests are referred to outside laboratories.

The Hospital Laboratory provides services 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week, for Emergency Department and inpatient services. 

Outpatient hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 
Outpatient services are closed on Sundays and holidays.
