2010 Dinner and Fashion Show

The 2010 Foundation Dinner and Fashion Show will be held on July 24th, 2010. The event is put on by The White County Memorial Hospital Foundation Board as a fund raiser for the hospital. It will be held at Eddies Restaurant and Lounge at the Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello, Indiana. Cocktails will start at 6:00 with dinner served at 7:00 and fashion show to follow. Local businesses show case their style, from clothing to jewelry to eyewear. The show is very entertaining and the food is great.

2009 Dinner and Fashion Show

In the spring of 2009, once again the foundation and the community came together to host the second dinner and fashion show "Fashion in Bloom". From that event two medical crash carts were purchased, a pediatric crash cart for the emergency room and an adult one for the ambulatory area.

How it Started

In the spring of 2008 the Foundation Board was in the midst of a major capital campaign for the hospital. A need to include the community in this venture was asserted. The Board felt that if the community was to have a feeling of ownership of this new hospital then an event to showcase the project was needed. This is how the dinner and fashion show was born. Many local merchants stepped up to become participants in this venture. Therefore a feeling of total community was instilled. All working together for a common goal. The major focus of this event was the introduction of the Healing Garden Brick Walk. To date over 163 bricks have been reserved. For more information click here.
